Beat the bus

Well Tuesdays are never boring – how can they be when you are doing mad things such as beating the number 55 bus from Old Street to Oxford Circus alongside the Beats by Dre team?

However this is just one of many amazing Tuesday evenings with Run Dem Crew. Every Tuesday we take to the streets of London pounding the concrete in a flurry of steps calling out hazards to the person behind. The groups are split by pace with Elites being the dons racing at super sonic speeds and the Hares cruising along at a more relaxed pace.

Tonight’s challenge was based on beating the bus all the way to Oxford St and back again. We all split into our pacing groups and then some of us would get on the bus while the others would race the bus to the next stop. Then the others would get off and race to the following and so on. However it was up to the individual when they got off and on the bus and there were also some heavyweight champs who didn’t even get on and gave the bus a run for its money all the way to Oxford Street. Talk about stamina!

All in all it was a great evening with a great challenge, great music provided by Mr Chris Adu and great sound bellowing from the Beats by Dre speakers. Be sure to check out #rundemcrew #BeatsbyDreUK on Twitter and #rundemcrew and @BeatsbyDre on instagram to see the cool pictures.

And if you see a round sticker with “Run Dem Crew” on it – then that’s a hug from us to you.
